MYRMID WEBHOSTING

Terms of Service

Effective October 20, 2026

This is a working worldwide-service agreement and should receive California and international privacy counsel review before public launch.

1. Service and plan limits

Myrmid Webhosting provides shared hosting accounts and related tools under the selected plan. Published limits for storage, transfer, domains or subdomains, email, FTP, and databases are part of the service. Features may depend on server configuration, security, and reasonable operation.

2. Ordering, billing, and cancellation

Hosting is billed at the price and frequency shown before PayPal checkout. Completing checkout authorizes the disclosed recurring payment where applicable. The confirmation identifies the plan, recurring charge, frequency, and how to cancel. A one-time setup fee applies to the selected plan and is nonrefundable.

Customers may cancel PayPal billing through PayPal or submit a cancellation request through private Myrmid Support. A support request is complete only when Myrmid confirms it. Payment is due on renewal. After 30 calendar days unpaid, service may be suspended; after an additional seven days, the account and its data may be terminated.

3. Refunds

A first-time customer may request a refund of the initial hosting charge within 30 days after activation if unsatisfied. Setup fees, later payments, partial billing periods, and third-party charges are nonrefundable except where law requires otherwise.

4. Customer responsibilities and acceptable use

Customers are responsible for account activity, content, software, email, and keeping account information accurate. The service may not be used for unlawful activity, infringement, phishing, malware, spam, bulk unsolicited email, unauthorized access, or activity that materially harms the service or others. Myrmid may suspend or remove content reasonably believed to violate this section, law, or server security.

5. Security, data, and backups

Customers must protect credentials and maintain independent, current backups of websites, databases, and email. Do not send passwords through support messages. Any backup or restore feature is a convenience, not a guaranteed backup service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myrmid is not responsible for data loss, corruption, restoration failure, or downtime.

6. Availability and liability

Service may be interrupted by maintenance, internet conditions, security events, third-party systems, or other causes. Myrmid does not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Myrmid’s total liability is limited to hosting fees paid in the three months before the event giving rise to a claim. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. International customers, laws, and taxes

Myrmid operates from the United States and may serve customers elsewhere where lawful. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless checkout says otherwise. Customers are responsible for applicable VAT, GST, sales, use, digital-service, or similar taxes unless Myrmid is required to collect them and checkout shows them.

Service is subject to U.S. export controls, sanctions, and other applicable laws. Myrmid may decline, restrict, or end service where providing it would violate law, sanctions, or a binding governmental requirement. Mandatory consumer rights in a customer’s country, state, or territory remain in effect where they cannot lawfully be waived.

8. Governing law, changes, and contact

Except for nonwaivable local rights, California law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Myrmid may update these Terms; material changes affecting active paid service will be communicated through account contact information or another reasonable method. For support, cancellation, or account questions, use the private Myrmid Support form →.
